Whose Father is God?

In John Chapter 8, Jesus disputes with the Jews. Both of them insist that God is His/their father. Here father refers to God. The father is the one who gives seed to the mother of the Israelites. The Jews thought that they had received the seed of God, but Jesus said they had not.

“Thou shalt not commit adultery,” says Exodus 20:14.
When we read this in the Bible, we think of adultery between a man and a woman. This way of thinking reveals that we have read the word of God as a moral code or criminal clause of man.
